Get your gypsy on and join the Free Spirit Tribe.
In this class we will cover the foundational moves of the Gypsy Caravan Tribal format, focusing on developing confidence, musicality and connection. Learn all the basic moves as well as the art of collaborative improvisation, following and leading, working with both sides of the body.
Great for those new to the style, enabling you to explore and embody the basic moves, cues and combos. Also beneficial for experienced Gypsy Caravenners to consolidate and refine foundational techniques. Come and play!
About Your Teacher
Kristie Lee started dancing before she walked, and hasn't stopped since, having danced her way across London, Amsterdam and San Francisco before completing a BA in Theatre and Drama Production at Murdoch. She structures her class around the principles of safe dance practice, incorporating appropriate warm-up, conditioning and technique and draws on her wealth of training in classical, folk, creative and contemporary dance styles to offer students an empowering and uplifting experience.
Kristie Lee has been learning Gypsy Caravan since 2010 and looks forward to sharing with you the joy, spontaneity and dress-ups of this woman-centred style. Private tuition available by appointment.
